Key Responsibilities

  • Development of laboratory policies, strategies and new test procedures.
  • Upgrading of laboratory technologies, techniques, skills and protocols whenever required as well as maintain and repair equipment.
  • Preparation of annual progress of the laboratory and implement laboratory safety and quality control.
  • Maintaining laboratory inventory and coordinating purchasing of all laboratory supplies and equipment.
  • Offering technical assistance to students and lecturers in research and innovation work.
  • Preparation and running of practicals.
  • Operation of analytical instruments.

Requirements

  • National Diploma in Computer Studies, or an equivalent in the related field.
  • B-Tech / BSc Honours Degree in Computer Science, Computer Systems Engineering or an equivalent in the related field.
  • At least two (2) years of relevant working experience would be an added advantage.
