Key Responsibilities
- Development of laboratory policies, strategies and new test procedures.
- Upgrading of laboratory technologies, techniques, skills and protocols whenever required as well as maintain and repair equipment.
- Preparation of annual progress of the laboratory and implement laboratory safety and quality control.
- Maintaining laboratory inventory and coordinating purchasing of all laboratory supplies and equipment.
- Offering technical assistance to students and lecturers in research and innovation work.
- Preparation and running of practicals.
- Operation of analytical instruments.
Requirements
- National Diploma in Computer Studies, or an equivalent in the related field.
- B-Tech / BSc Honours Degree in Computer Science, Computer Systems Engineering or an equivalent in the related field.
- At least two (2) years of relevant working experience would be an added advantage.
