Zimbabwe Consolidated Diamond Company (Pvt) Ltd (ZCDC), a World Class Diamond Producer for the long-term benefit of Zimbabwe seeks applications from suitably qualified,
experienced, and self-driven candidates to be considered for the following position that has arisen in the business:
Reporting to the HR Business Partner – Talent and Organisation Development, the position exists to provide HR competence solutions to employees in the various technical disciplines through building organisational capability to manage change by implementing individual/team learning programs that provide requisite knowledge, skills and attitude to
perform the expected operations of ZCDC and achieve its mandate. The job is based at the Mine in Chiadzwa and is responsible for the following:
Duties And Responsibilities
Summary of Duties:
• Develop, co-ordinate and administer all technical skills training programmes.
• Manage the Apprenticeship and the technical skills upgrade programmes.
• Performance of planned and ad-hoc skills audits to feed into the strategic people resourcing and succession planning processes.
• Perform needs analysis, compile training material, conduct interventions and evaluate learner’s performance.
• Ensure business continuity by running relevant technical programs.
• Ensure learning application through learning evaluation in line with the ROI technology.
• Implementation of all HR interventions and company OD programs related to technical training.
• Gather feedback from trainees and instructors and recommend suggestions to the learning process.
Qualifications And Experience
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
• Degree in Human Resources Management/Social Science.
• Apprenticeship trained skilled Class 1 certification.
• Professional qualification in Training Management.
• At least 4 years working experience in a Technical Training role in a mining and/or related industry environment.
• A clean Class 4 Driver’s License is an added advantage.
• Sound knowledge of SHEQ Management Systems.
