General position summary

Mercy Corps’s Team Leader – Resilience will be responsible for the overall leadership, management, and technical oversight of our portfolio of donor funded resilience programs in Zimbabwe. S/he will work closely with Mercy Corps’ program teams, technical advisors, as well as partners, donors and government stakeholders to set the technical direction of Mercy Corps’s resilience portfolio, establish work plans and lead execution of key work streams, provide overall budget oversight and management, ensure robust measurement, research and evaluation of programs and use data to drive adaptive management, build partnerships for successful program delivery, and position the resilience portfolio for impact and scale. The Team Leader will supervise a team of technical managers and ensure accountability to Mercy Corps’ policies and procedures. S/he will be the primary representative of Mercy Corps’ resilience portfolio to relevant government entities, partners, other implementers, and external stakeholders.
