Key Responsibilities

  • As a TEACHING ASSISTANTS: APPLIED MATHEMATICS, you will be The successful candidate will support the department through tutoring, conducting Mathematics and Statistics Clinics and contributing to the overall academic development of the department
  • The successful candidate will be a tutor of any applied mathematics modules
  • In addition, the candidate will support the department through conducting Mathematics Clinics and contributing to the overall academic development of the department
  • The successful candidate will be expected to register for an MPhil in Applied Mathematics, specialising in mathematical modeling, and to serve in the capacity of Teaching Assistant

Requirements

  • Hold a BSc (Hons) degree with at least an Upper Second Class (2:1) classification in Applied Mathematics, Computational Mathematics, Mathematical Modelling, Industrial Mathematics, Mathematics for AI or Mathematical Sciences
  • Applicants must have at least of 5 “O” level passes including Mathematics and English Language
  • The applicant must be 30years or below at the time of application
  • Applicant should have graduated no more than two (2) years at the time of applying
