HIPPO VALLEY ESTATES LIMITED
Operations/ Location: Hippo Valley Estates Primary School
Reporting To: The Head
Key Customers: Parents; Students, Service Providers.
Purpose of Role:
This role is responsible for ensuring the smooth delivery of teaching and learning programs that meet students’ educational, sporting, cultural, and extracurricular needs, in line with the provisions of the New National Curriculum Framework, under the overall guidance of the Head of School or Head of Unit.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
-
Preparation of termly Schemes of Work and Weekly Records and Forecasts.

Use varied medium in the teaching of lessons including ICT.

Budgetary control of all field trip expenditures through consultations with HOD.

Submission of end of year resource requirements for following year.

Prepare end of term performance reports for students and completing corresponding confidential report for each child at the end of the year.

Teach at least three sporting activities (Tennis, Cricket, Rugby, Soccer, Swimming, Netball, Hetc)

Prepare and deliver online lessons to ensure continuity of learning during remote or hybrid education periods

Ensuring strict adherence to all school and company policies.

Have high appreciation of SHE standard requirements for a school.

Any other duty assigned by the Head.
FINANCIAL PARAMETERS

Submit requirements for inclusion during the school’s annual budget planning process.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
-
Diploma in Education or Bachelor of Education Degree (Primary) as an added advantage.
-
Over 5 years of experience of which 3 were in an ATS school.
TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES
-
Advanced Oral and written presentation skills in word, excel and power point.

Verbal and written proficiency in English language.

Comprehensive knowledge and experience in teaching at Primary School level.

Problem solving capabilities.

Self-starter and ability to work with minimal supervision.
-
Organizational skills.
-
Ability to teach sports offered in ATS schools.

Ability to run on-line lessons.
-
Competencies in the teaching of plays, dramas and music.
