TEACHER OF ENGLISH LANGUAGE AND ENGLISH LITERATURE AT PETERHOUSE GIRLS
Commencing January 2026 (but May 2026 start may be considered)
Peterhouse Girls is part of a group of three, independent boarding schools magnificently located on two highly attractive sites near Marondera, 80 kilometers southeast of Harare. Peterhouse is widely regarded as one of Zimbabwe’s leading independent schools and has a proud academic record, with strong sporting, outward-bound, musical, and cultural traditions and is therefore able to offer a top-class, all-round education.
Peterhouse Girls is looking for a dynamic and competent individual to teach English Language and English Literature to IGCSE level. The successful applicant will be a graduate of a well-renowned university. Experience teaching the Cambridge IGCSE syllabus will be an advantage, as would an interest in teaching Global Perspectives to junior classes. Candidates must be in sympathy with the Anglican traditions and ethos of Peterhouse and appreciate the culture and commitment required in a full boarding school.
