Key Responsibilities

 

 

– Manage the design, development, and implementation of ZIMRA solutions, integrations, and software application upgrades.
– Oversee business process improvement and reengineering before application development efforts.
– Develop programs using Java and Java-based technologies to resolve business requirements.
– Write well-designed, testable, and efficient code.
– Modify existing programs to align with changing business needs or fix bugs.
– Adhere to the Authority’s software development standards.
– Develop integration solutions for internal and external systems.
– Provide support for issues raised by end users.
– Perform any other duties as assigned by the Systems Development Manager.

Qualifications and Experience

 

 

– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
– Oracle Certified Associate – Java Developer.
– At least 2 years’ experience in software development within a Java Enterprise environment.
– Must have knowledge of Linux OS, Oracle, SQL, and PostgreSQL Database.
– Knowledge of Vue.js, Struts/Spring, Web Services (SOAP/REST), HTML, CSS is an added advantage.
– Familiarity with Agile Software Development and SDLC methodologies.
– Knowledge of communication services like ActiveMQ and RabbitMQ is beneficial.
– Clean Class 4 driver’s license.
