Job Summary
Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced personnel to the Systems Developer position at the Cotton Company of Zimbabwe (COTTCO)
Duties And Responsibilities
- Analyzing system requirements to meet business objectives
•Developing applications that translates agreed specifications in to a production environment
•Preparing general and detailed software designs
•Plan and executes testing and implementation of systems
•Testing and modifying systems to ensure they operate reliably
•Maintaining the system by correcting non-conforming programs
•Modifying existing programs to meet changing business requirements
•Researching on new technologies to assist in maintaining efficient systems
•Establishing project plans and project management guidelines and support their implementation
•Fault finding, diagnosis and fixing of bugs
•Developing system documentation and user manuals
•Training end users on how to use deployed systems
•Assisting IT manager in developing the section strategy
•Executing change requests as required by the business
Qualifications And Experience
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science/IT
•Professional Certification-Database Management, Programming will be an added advantage
•At least 2 years post qualification work experience.
