Job Title: SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR
Role Purpose:
To ensure the continuous, secure, and reliable operation of ZERA’s ICT systems by managing server infrastructure, virtualization platforms, and data center operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Management: Administer and optimize server environments (physical and virtual), including Active Directory, Group Policy, and print services.
- System Health: Proactively monitor system performance, troubleshoot complex hardware/software issues, and oversee the data centre.
- Security & Data Protection: Implement robust backup operations, disaster recovery protocols, and manage user permissions and access rights.
- Lifecycle & Upgrades: Manage hardware/software lifecycles, including installations, patching, and configuration updates.
- Collaboration: Work with the Network Administrator on infrastructure planning and documentation.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Communication Technology (ICT), Computer Science, or a closely related field.
- Advanced Study: A relevant Post-Graduate qualification or specialized professional certifications (e.g., MCSE, VCP, or CCNP) will be considered a distinct advantage.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of progressive ICT experience, specifically within systems administration or infrastructure roles.
- Infrastructure & Virtualization: Proven proficiency in managing enterprise-grade Server Administration and Virtualization platforms (such as VMware vSphere or Microsoft Hyper-V).
- SAP System: Working experience using SAP system.
- Problem Solving: Exceptional troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex network, server, and application-level issues under pressure.
