- Degree in computer studies, Information Systems or equivalent
- Must have a minimum of 2 years experience of post qualification experience

- Job Application Details DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The job holder will be responsible for inter alia: Researching, planning, installing, configuring, troubleshooting, maintaining and upgrading software interfaces with the operating systems Researching and recommending software development purchase and use Maintaining system documentation, recording and maintaining hardware and software inventories, site, and/or server licensing, and user access and security Conducting technical research on system upgrades to determine feasibility, cost, time required, and compatibility with current system Documenting system problems and resolutions for future reference Offer system support services for all council LT systems Maintaining and modifying existing software systems processes, utility routines and expand the systems to match advancement in technology and changing user requirements Updating technical and user manuals on any changes made to systems according to development standards Supervising staff in the section Providing information systems support services and office automation Creating a central data base for Council employees Carrying out LT related in-service training for Council employees Carrying out any other duties in line with the organizational goals as assigned by the Head Of Department Qualifying interested individuals should submit their handwritten application, detailed CVs including contacts and email addresses of at least 3 traceable references ) together with certified copies of academic and professional qualifications, birth certificates and national ID cards not later than 25February 2021.
