JOB PURPOSE
The System Development Analyst position exists to coordinate and lead the process of linking f together different computing systems and software applications, physical or functionally, to act as a coordinated whole. Incumbent reports to the Systems Development Specialist.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1 Lead systems integration of ZINARA revenue systems (Zimtoll, Transit, Bridge Toll) to peripheral systems.
2. Develop and maintain system and data integrations and components.
3. Design integration solutions.
4. Provide software development expertise.
5. Carry out systems design and development.
6. Carry out requirement analysis, decomposition, development, internal testing and documentation
7. Architect, design, build and implement application integrations.
8. Provide technical support and trouble shoot existing integrations.
9. Build reports or data extracts to support business analysis.
10. Support development on resolving system defects, acting as liaison, and developing solutions.
11. Work with end users during system design to determine functionality needs.
12. Monitor APIs for all revenue systems.
13. Train technologies and solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
14. Ensure all documentation for all systems are available and that Systems and Applications comply with approved standards.
15. Ensure tight security on all delivered APIs, reviewing APIs and making sure security standards are implemented.
Qualifications and Work Experience
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science
• Any vocational certification in on Object-Oriented Programming language will 5.0 added advantage
• 5 O’ Levels including Math’s and English.
• At least two years related working experience.
