VACANT: SURVEY TECHNICIAN
Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced personnel to fill the above-mentioned vacant position, which has arisen in the Works Department. The applicant reports to the Town Planner:
Qualifications/ Requirements:
⦁ Holder of a Diploma in Survey
⦁ Be able to work under pressure and with minimum supervision
⦁ A minimum of 5 years experience in a Public Planning Environment
⦁ Must be 25 years and above
Key Performance and Results Areas:
⦁ Carry out Tachometric Surveys
⦁ Carry out non-title Surveys
Liaise with the Surveyor General and other Chartered Surveyors in the Title Survey of stands
Advise clients on the procedure to be followed when carrying out title survey
Verify cadastral surveys and sign receipt beacons
Any other duties as assigned by the Town Planner
