GLOBAL HEALTH SUPPLY CHAIN-PROCUREMENT AND SUPPLY MANAGEMENT
Background: The Global Health Supply Chain- Procurement and Supply Management Project (GHSC- PSM), Zimbabwe Initiative is a USAID program implemented by Chemonics International Inc. The purpose of GHSC-PSM is to ensure uninterrupted supplies of health commodities in support of U.S. government-funded public health initiatives around the world.
Position: Supply Chain Data Analyst
Responsibilities:
The Supply Chain Data Analyst will be responsible for the following principal duties and responsibilities in this role:
- Regularly review supply chain data for performance metrics,
- Conduct in depth adhoc/regular research and analysis of large logistics data sets for informed decision making using statistical techniques and tools,
- Develop analytical products, including but not limited to user friendly data visualizations and reports,
- Build and deploy automated analytics solutions on cloud platforms such as Power Bl or Tableau in the form of interactive dashboards,
- Identify gaps and improves existing tools for data analysis, aggregation, transformation, and calculations
- Participate in capacity building of staff
- Perform otherspecific assignments as agreed with supervisor
QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily. The qualifications listed below are representative of the required knowledge, skills, and/or abilities needed to perform the principal duties.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience and demonstrated skills in large data analysis and dashboards development,
- Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, or other relevant discipline,
- Ability to conduct in depth supply chain performance related data research,
- Ability to develop data analysis models for automated data analysis and input to dashboards,
- Self-starter with ability to take investigative and inquisitive approach towards available data,
- Experience in computer programming, query languages, and Cloud-based data visualization platforms such as PowerBI,
- Web-site development ability an added advantage,
- Experience working on USAID funded projects will be an added advantage,
- Fluency in English required.
