Job Summary
Access Finance is registered financial institution seeking to recruit an experienced Structured Finance (“SF”) Manager with minimum experience of 10 years, incorporating 3 years in a financial institution (specialising in international commodity transactions and trade finance instruments). Added experience managing a Structured Finance Unit as a profit centre is highly beneficial. The incumbent will be required to lead the negotiation of complex structured finance and/or debt arrangements. This is a senior role and will report to the Managing Director.

Duties And Responsibilities
The Structured Finance Manager will identify, formulate and negotiate margin-enhancing financing opportunities using agile, robust, iterative structured finance frameworks. Lead financing and risk management decisions working with internal general and specialist teams (responsible for market research, risk and compliance, sales and marketing, information technology and capital raising) and external stakeholders (such as risk-investors, customers, suppliers, freight handling, forwarding and clearing specialists) within the ecosystem. Provide strategic planning, implementation and review of existing and new commercial products. Responsible for profitability and cashflow management of commercial products in the portfolio as amended from time to time. Duties will also include driving the delivery of the strategic projects, including preparing finance project plans, delivery methodology, critical path analysis, financial comparatives, financial ratios analysis, best practice, and coverage of trade finance services to support the expanding global reach of the structured finance products that are incorporated in this portfolio.

Qualifications And Experience
Interested candidates should hold the following qualifications;
1. Master’s Degree in Finance, Economics or Investment Banking
2. Qualified CA, CIMA or CFA qualification
3. At least 10 years’ experience in trade finance and project finance 3 of which should financial institution experience specialising in international commodity transactions and trade finance.
