Job Summary

A leading fast food outlet in GWERU is looking for a candidate with strong administration and excel skills. The successful incumbent will have knowledge of implementing an efficient procurement system from sourcing to VAT data capturing. MUST possess a strong industry knowledge with ability to forecast market trends and perform consumer research.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Introduce efficient procurement systems
  • Order stock quantities that are compatible with both cashflows and suppliers deliveries turnaround times
  • Establish, engage and negotiate with suppliers terms and conditions that are favourable to the organisation, and maintain supplier relationships
  • Prepare and maintain purchasing records, reports and price lists, cost comparison
  • Ensure that all documentation pertaining to receiving and issuing are kept up to date
  • Ensure minimum and maximum quantity levels are maintained by monitoring both Pastel movements and physical movements
  • Communicate in advance stock movements, potential stock out, stock quality problems and overstocking

Qualifications and Experience

  • Applicants must have a Degree in Purchasing and Supply or Relevant
  • They should also have 2 years of experience
  • A knowledge or exposure to fast foods is an ADDED advantage
  • Drivers licence a must
