Stores Manager
A leading manufacturing organisation is looking for a Stores Manager to join their Stores Department.
Duties And Responsibilities
Duties and responsibilities
– Coordinating the receiving and dispatching of goods.
– Maintaining accurate records of receipts, transfers and dispatches of goods.
– Managing inventory levels and minimum order levels in liaison with departmental heads.
– Explaining satisfactory variances to senior management and ensuring that there are no such.
– Managing and determining the consumption of key stock items.
– Managing scheduled deliveries and dispatches making sure that all tallies with the respective movements.
– Managing periodic stock takes for variance analysis
– General maintenance of warehouses.
– Overseeing and managing the Pastel system which tracks inventory and the supply of goods.
– Preparing daily, weekly and monthly Stores Reports.
Qualifications And Experience
Qualifications
– At least 3 years experience in FMCG
– Degree in Stores Management/Retail and Logistics Management or equivalent.
– Pursuing a professional qualification such as CILT is an added advantage.
– Extensive knowledge of Pastel and Excel.
