Job Title: Stores Controller (Supply / Logistics / Transport / Shipping)
Role Purpose:
Our organization is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Stores Controller to oversee inventory management and ensure compliance with company policies and international standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage receipt, storage, and issuance of goods.
- Verify and document GRNs, Delivery Notes, and Purchase Orders.
- Capture inventory transactions in ERPNext (GRNs, transfers, adjustments, returns).
- Collaborate with Finance & Procurement for 3-way matching (PO-GRN-Invoice).
- Maintain internal controls in line with GAAP & IFRS.
- Generate and analyze inventory reports to support decision-making.
- Supervise and train stores staff on ERPNext and inventory best practices.
Requirements
- Degree in Supply Chain Management, Accounting, Business Studies, or related field.
- 3-5 years’ experience in inventory/stores management.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and IFRS as they relate to inventory valuation and reporting.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems; ERPNext experience is a strong advantage.
- Proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools.
