The Zimbabwe Open University (ZOU) is the largest and comprehensive Open & Distance Electronic-Learning (ODeL) university in Zimbabwe that offers lifelong learning in an affordable and flexible manner. Suitably qualified, experienced and motivated candidates are invited to apply for vacant positions that have arisen in the Zimbabwe Open University.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Monitoring and evaluating the state of assets within the University;
• Allocating and distributing office furniture and office equipment to University personnel;
• Identifying obsolete and idle assets for disposal;
• Ordering and distributing modules;
• Ordering and distributing stationery and cleaning materials;
• Maintaining a record and register of modules stocks;
• Making regular stock-taking of modules, stationery, and office equipment;
• Providing clerical services in the Unit such as compilation of monthly modules returns, stationery returns and cleaning materials returns; and
• Any other duties delegated by the Regional Administrator.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
• National Certificate in Purchasing and Supply or Stores Management;
• 5 Ordinary levels including English Language and Mathematics; and
• One (1) year relevant working experience.
