Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect and record all incoming stock in accordance with company procedures.
- Verify delivered goods against purchase orders, delivery notes and supplier invoices.
- Issue stock only against properly completed and approved stock requisitions.
- Maintain accurate records of stock received, issued, transferred and returned.
- Update bin cards, stock registers and inventory systems regularly.
- Conduct physical stock counts and reconcile stock with system records.
- Investigate and report stock shortages, variances, damages and losses.
- Monitor stock levels and report items that require reordering.
- Ensure that stock is properly arranged, labelled, stored and safeguarded.
- Maintain proper filing of stock documents and prepare stock reports for management.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the stores area and prevent unauthorised access.
Requirements
- A minimum of five Ordinary Level subjects, including Mathematics and English.
- Candidates with Ordinary and/or Advanced Level qualifications are encouraged to apply.
- Previous experience in stores, stock control, warehousing or inventory management will be an added advantage.
