Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect and record all incoming stock in accordance with company procedures.
  • Verify delivered goods against purchase orders, delivery notes and supplier invoices.
  • Issue stock only against properly completed and approved stock requisitions.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock received, issued, transferred and returned.
  • Update bin cards, stock registers and inventory systems regularly.
  • Conduct physical stock counts and reconcile stock with system records.
  • Investigate and report stock shortages, variances, damages and losses.
  • Monitor stock levels and report items that require reordering.
  • Ensure that stock is properly arranged, labelled, stored and safeguarded.
  • Maintain proper filing of stock documents and prepare stock reports for management.
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the stores area and prevent unauthorised access.

Requirements

  • A minimum of five Ordinary Level subjects, including Mathematics and English.
  • Candidates with Advanced Level qualifications are encouraged to apply.
  • A Diploma in Stores Management, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Accounting or a related field will be an added advantage.
  • Previous experience in stores, stock control, warehousing or inventory management will be an added advantage.
  • Strong numerical, organisational and record-keeping skills.
  • Basic computer skills, particularly Microsoft Excel.
  • A high level of honesty, integrity and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision and communicate effectively.
