A vacancy has risen within our Organisation for a stores clerk. Winsten Precast (Pvt) Ltd is a manufacturing company specialising in production and supply of Precast Concrete products used in civil and road construction works.
The Role:
The stores clerk will be responsible for administering and operating the organization’s stores, including receiving, packaging, storage, loading and dispatching of supplies, materials
and equipment to ensure high customer satisfaction.

➢ Perform monthly and quarterly stock checks and prepare monthly inventory reports for management use.
➢ Receives incoming and outgoing merchandise
➢ Provides effective technical support in the storage and timely distribution of stocks in order to ensure availability and safe custody of stocks to meet operational and maintenance requirements
➢ Loads and unload items from delivery tracks
➢ Prepares outgoing goods and check that orders are complete not damaged
➢ Writes reports about inventory levels, outgoing merchandise maintain storage
➢ Checks stocks against packing invoices
➢ Removes items from stock to fill orders from authorised requisitions
➢ Assists in counting and recording stock
➢ Maintains and stores stock under the right conditions to avoid stock damage and harm.
➢ Maintain a data base of all stocks and piles reports on any shortages, losses, obsolete items and expired stocks for the attention of superior
➢ Maintains stock control measures by physically checking conditions of stock.
➢ Reports any stock discrepancies to the Accounts department for further verifications
Qualifications And Experience
Qualifications and Experience
• A Higher National Diploma in Purchasing and Supply or equivalent
• 2 years’ work experience in the same field.
• High level of numeracy
• Time management
