Job Summary
National Foods Logistics (Pvt) Ltd, an outbound distribution and warehousing company of fast-moving consumer goods, seeks applications from suitably qualified, experienced, and self-driven candidates to be considered for the following exciting opportunity that have arisen in the business.
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the position is based in Harare and responsible for the following:
Duties And Responsibilities
- Ensuring that the correct quantity and type of goods are received and palletized accordingly.
• Ensuring the recording of any damaged, missing, or faulty goods is done.
• Processing of all goods receipt/received in the system and ensuring that Kardex records are
updated and filed.
• Ensuring that goods are arranged in accordance with the First Expiry First Out (FEFO) method.
• Coordinating and monitoring daily stock counts and month end stock takes.
• Ensuring that all daily and monthly stock variances and queries are investigated.
• Supervision of Stock Control Clerks.
• Carrying any other duties as assigned.
Qualifications And Experience
- Degree/HND Diploma in Supply Chain Management or any related field.
• At least 2 years’ proven and relevant experience in Supply Chain Management.
• Experience in a Distribution/Logistics Company will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of SAGE 100 software is an added advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must.
