Midlands State University invites applications for the position of Stock Controller at Kwekwe Campus on a 4-month fixed-term contract. The ideal candidate will assist in risk management, inventory control, and loss prevention within the retail shop.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist management with daily risk management activities
  • Minimize inventory loss due to theft, error, or fraud
  • Monitor adherence to SOPs to prevent shoplifting, vandalism, and theft
  • Liaise across departments to control stock losses and manage stock movements
  • Oversee stock takes and manage expiries and breakages
  • Perform other relevant functions as assigned

Requirements

  • At least 5 ‘O’ levels including Mathematics and English
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in stock and loss controlling in retail FMCG
  • Certificate in Stock Controlling or Loss Controlling (advantageous)
