Airmass Meats is seeking an experienced and reliable Stock Controller to oversee daily stock management, stock audits and warehouse management.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal stock levels to prevent overstocking or out of stock situations.
- Lead and execute daily, weekly and monthly stocktakes, recording physical counts with excel system records.
- Maintain accurate digital database using inventory management software i.e Excel
- Inspect incoming deliveries for quality, verify against purchase requisitions, and enter the data into the Excel Schedule.
- Investigate and resolve stock variances , reporting all issues to management.
- Ensure storage areas are organised , refrigerators are properly working and compliant with Fisrt-In-First-Out basis, health and safety standards
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Stores Management, Business Management Logistics and/or equivalent commercial programs
- O level subjects including Mathematics, English & Science
- Experience in a butchery/ farm inventory management is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of Excel, basic accounting, and inventory management
- Valid Class 4 Driver’s Licence
- Defensive Drivers license is an added advantage
- Honest, reliable, and well organised
- Ability to work flexible hours
