Key Responsibilities

  • Monitoring stock and ensuring timely replenishment
  • Ensuring all inventories and stock management systems are maintained timely and accurately within agreed parameters
  • Reconciliation of physical stock with system records.
  • Supply Chain Support, Monitor and Maintain optimal stock levels (Min/Max levels -Optimum stockholding rate at all stores) to avoid stock-outs or excessive holding costs. Analyse usage trends to assist the procurement team with forecasting and identifying buying patterns.
  • Ensure all stock movements are supported by proper and authorized documentation
  • Provide management with inventory performance reports detailing stock movement and stock levels

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Stores Management, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Accounting or related field
  • UNISA or CIPS certification in Warehouse and Inventory Management an added advantage
  • Minimum 2 to 5 years’ experience in stock control, inventory and warehouse management
  • Experience in the motor spares / retail / FMCG sector an added advantage
  • Proven experience with stock management systems (e.g. QuickBooks, Melivo)
  • Expertise in Microsoft Excel (high priority)
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills
