Job Summary

We are looking for Structural/ Steel Draughtspersons (x2) to join our team.

Duties And Responsibilities

Duties and Responsibilities include:
● Carry out drawings for the Drawing Department in 2D and 3D as required while specialising mainly in Civil, Structural, Fabrication drawings but not limited to them. Mechanical drawing will be done as and when needed.
● Reporting to the Head of Drawing dept, daily, weekly, and monthly drawing on project assigned drawings and propose actions to correct adverse performances off the reviews.
● Liaises with raw materials Procurement and Civil & Structural teams to ensure that inbound raw materials are delivered within the stipulated times, quantities, and quality specifications.
● Carries out regular site visits for data collection, inspect work being done and quality control
● Implements actions to correct site delays due to drawing errors timely.
● Contributes to the development of quotations and tender documents and client reports.
● Carries out work according to working instructions and standard operating procedures for Drawing Production works.
● Assists the Procurement department by providing the necessary information to facilitate procurement of the desired raw materials.

Qualifications And Experience

Person Specification:
● University Degree or Higher National Diploma in an Engineering field or Equivalent
● At least 2 years of Civil & Structural experience in a Drawing Department or Design Engineering Firm.
● Appreciation of CAD software, Advance Steel, AutoCad, Tekla Structures.
● In depth knowledge of Structural Steel fabrication drawings requirements paying particular attention to detail.
