(b) University Service and Community engagement- the incumbent should participate in all Department, Faculty/School and University activities such as attending meetings, training workshops, conferences and seminars, among others.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver tutorials, workshops, and supplementary learning materials to support student learning and development.
- Assist in teaching undergraduate courses in Computer Science and related areas under the guidance of faculty members.
- Collaborate with lecturers to develop assessment tools and provide feedback to students on their academic progress.
- Engage in research projects and assist faculty members with research activities in Computer Science or related fields.
- Participate in the university’s staff development programmes to enhance teaching skills and pedagogical techniques.
- The Candidate must enroll for a Master’s Degree in Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence or Cybersecurity while in the role and complete within five years from the date of appointment.
Requirements
- Must have a BSc Honours Computer Science / BSc Honours Computer Systems Engineering with at least a 2.1 pass.
- Studying towards an MSc in Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence or Cybersecurity is an added advantage.
