Duties and Responsibilities
Cleaning and sanitizing: Perform cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas.
Linen and laundry: Assist with the collection, sorting, and distribution of clean linen and towels. Help with washing, drying, folding, and ironing laundry as needed.
Room preparation: Assist in preparing patient rooms, including making beds, restocking amenities, and ensuring all necessary supplies are available.
Inventory management: Take stock of housekeeping supplies and report any shortages to the supervisor. Assist in maintaining an organized supply room.
Guest services: Respond to guest requests for additional amenities, towels, or other housekeeping-related services promptly and courteously.
Safety and security: Adhere to safety and security procedures, including handling cleaning chemicals properly, following protocols for lost and found items, and reporting any maintenance or security concerns.
Any other duties that may be prescribed by the supervisor
SKILLS, ABILITIES AND REQUIREMENTS
Detail oriented
Must possess effective time management skills
Excellent communication skills.
Basic Problem-solving skills.
Qualifications and Experience
Must be studying a diploma in Tourism and hospitality management or Equivalent,
