SPORTS & EDUCATION COORDINATOR –
DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND COMMUNITY SERVICES
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
⦁ Higher Diploma in Education, Sports Management or equivalent.
⦁ 5 ‘O’ Levels including Mathematics and English.
⦁ At least 1 year’s relevant experience in stated position.
⦁ Good interpersonal communication skills.
MAIN DUTIES
⦁ Creating sporting events in schools.
⦁ Booking appropriate facilities and presenters.
⦁ Establishing programs and conducting continuous evaluation of sports programs.
⦁ Leading fundraising and marketing campaigns.
⦁ Research on community-favored sportsand activities.
⦁ Working with School Heads and School Development Committees for festivals and competitions.
⦁ Ensures school curricula are up to standard in line with Ministry of Education.
⦁ Maintains record of all school and community sporting groups.
⦁ Any other duties assigned by superior.
