Key Responsibilities

  • Install and commission solar PV systems (modules, inverters, batteries, controllers).
  • Perform DC/AC wiring, earthing, and lightning protection in line with ZETDC standards.
  • Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance, fault diagnosis, and system upgrades.
  • Ensure compliance with electrical safety regulations, EMA requirements, and company procedures.
  • Prepare technical reports, update schematics, and maintain accurate records.
  • Provide client training, respond to service calls, and uphold customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain proper inventory records of tools, equipment, and materials.

Requirements

  • Mature individual (30+ years), with strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Clean criminal record.
  • Minimum of 5 O-Level passes including English, Mathematics, and Science.
  • National Certificate/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Renewable Energy.
  • Class 1 Skilled Worker certification (preferred).
  • Valid ZERA Electrical Worker License with Solar PV competency.
  • 2-3 years’ experience in solar PV installation.
