Key Responsibilities
- Install and commission solar PV systems (modules, inverters, batteries, controllers).
- Perform DC/AC wiring, earthing, and lightning protection in line with ZETDC standards.
- Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance, fault diagnosis, and system upgrades.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety regulations, EMA requirements, and company procedures.
- Prepare technical reports, update schematics, and maintain accurate records.
- Provide client training, respond to service calls, and uphold customer satisfaction.
- Maintain proper inventory records of tools, equipment, and materials.
Requirements
- Mature individual (30+ years), with strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Clean criminal record.
- Minimum of 5 O-Level passes including English, Mathematics, and Science.
- National Certificate/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Renewable Energy.
- Class 1 Skilled Worker certification (preferred).
- Valid ZERA Electrical Worker License with Solar PV competency.
- 2-3 years’ experience in solar PV installation.
