Job Brief

We are looking for an individual who will be the main point for customers intending to engage with the company through social media platforms.
The individual should be very knowledgeable and experienced in;
⦁ Managing all social media practices.
⦁ Planning, implementing, and developing social media guidelines, systems, procedures, and tools.
⦁ Providing expert reporting, analytics, and advice in order to increase visibility, awareness, and understanding.
⦁ Supporting the company’s mandate, vision, corporate objectives, activities, and programs through social media platforms.

Key Performance Areas

⦁ Overseeing the company’s interactions with the public by implementing social media content strategies.
⦁ Identifying and engaging with social influencers.
⦁ Analyzing engagement data and identifying trends in customer interactions
⦁ Planning digital campaigns to build community online.
⦁ Responding to customers’ queries, concerns, and comments that are posted to the company’s social media platforms.
⦁ Managing the company’s social media visibility and reviewing social media campaigns.
⦁ Engaging with customers on different social media platforms.

Person Specifications
⦁ A Bachelor’s degree or a Diploma in Social Media Management, Marketing or a related discipline
⦁ A minimum of 3 years experience as a Social Media Officer or a similar role
⦁ Ability to use a variety of social media platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Linkedln, and Google+.
⦁ Excellent working knowledge of social media tools such as Hootsuite, Buffer, and Google Analytics.
⦁ Demonstrate experience in growing and maintaining a digital audience
⦁ Solid customer service skills, good communication, and interpersonal skills
⦁ Should possess a clean class 4 driver’s license
⦁ Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and opportunities for engagement
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
