Key Responsibilities
- Assist in creating communications content for UNDP Food Systems social media channels, including LinkedIn and YouTube.
- Assist in designing visuals, social media cards and infographics using Adobe Creative Suite, Canva and other relevant tools.
- Edit and produce video content, including reels, recap videos and event highlights.
- Format and design communications materials.
- Assist with presentations, briefing notes, meeting minutes and reports.
- Support the execution of UNDP Food Systems campaigns and communications strategies.
- Support internal communications reporting and products.
- Provide other related and ad hoc support.
Requirements
- Be enrolled in the final academic year of a first university degree programme, at minimum bachelor’s level or equivalent, in communications, journalism, marketing, international development or a related field; or
- Be enrolled in a graduate school programme, such as a second university degree or equivalent or higher, in communications, journalism, marketing, international development or a related field; or
- Have recently graduated with a relevant university degree and, if selected, start the internship within one year of graduation.
- Knowledge of the MS Office package.
- Excellent communication, writing and editing skills.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of LinkedIn and social media platforms.
- Experience in communications, content creation or social media management.
- Experience in video editing and multimedia production.
- Experience with graphic design tools such as Adobe Suite and Canva.
- Familiarity with Mailchimp or other newsletter platforms.
- Experience with additional AI creative production tools such as Runway, Adobe Firefly or ElevenLabs.
- Fluency in English is required.
- Fluency in Spanish is an advantage.
