Duties and Responsibilities
-
Planning and implementing training programmes
-
Impart theory and practical skills to students
-
Prepare in-class examinations and performance
-
Monitor and review training programmes
-
Evaluating student’s theory and practical work
-
Identify training needs and provide capacity building opportunities for youths through integrated skills outreach programme ISOP
-
Participating in production units and enhance improved production.
-
Supervising general cleaning and maintenance of classroom and workshops.
-
Supervising and following up students on attachment.
-
Ensure good conduct of behavior among trainees
-
Keeping of department assets, tools and equipment.
QUALIFICATIONS AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES
-
Class 1 journey man or Diploma in the relevant discipline or field.
-
Further Teachers certificates added advantage
-
A degree in the relevant field will be an added advantage.
-
Proven experience of post tertiary qualification.
-
Ability to work effectively at all levels with youth at VTC and in the communities.
-
Ability to demonstrate suitable teaching methodologies.
-
Computer literate
-
Ability to work under pressure.
