VACANCY
Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates to fill the above-mentioned position within the Transport and Logistics Department.
Qualifications and Experience
•Diploma in Transport & Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or full CILT.
•Five (5) O’ Level subjects, including English Language and Mathematics/Accounts.
•A degree in Transport & Logistics or Supply Chain Management is an added advantage.
•Additional qualifications in Customs & Legislation or Freight Forwarding Practices are an added advantage.
•Minimum of one (1) year experience in a practical Transport, Logistics, or Distribution environment.
Core Competencies
•Excellent communication skills.
•Proficient computer skills.
•Strong analytical skills.
•Ability to work under pressure and beyond normal working hours when required.
•SAP knowledge is an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
•Facilitate movement of exports and imports.
•Prepare loading instructions in coordination with the Shipping and Distribution Officer.
•Track goods in transit.
•Raise purchase requisitions manually and input them into SAP.
•Reconcile fuel stocks on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
•Compile daily stock reports and weekly departmental reports.
•Manage routing and scheduling of trucks.
•Perform any other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
