1 x SHEQ OFFICER (based at Ngezi Mine)

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Reports on a monthly basis the company performance in relation to safety, health, environment and quality
• Identifies continuous improvement Projects that enhances the SHEQ performance of the company

4 Ensures that all applicable occupational hygiene surveys are conducted to safe guard the safety and health of all employees

• Responsible for ensuring that all legal appointments are in place that the company complies with all relevant SHE regulations
• Identifies continuous improvement Projects that enhances the SHEQ performance of the company.

COMPETENCIES

• Degree/Diploma or equivalent in Health & Safety Management
• At least 3-5 years relevant experience within underground and surface mining environment.

4 The incumbent should be fully conversant with OHS Act Explosives Act as
well as any other SHE legislation and amendments to current legislation.

• The incumbent would need to possess excellent presentation skills and a basic knowledge of training methodologies.
• Valid driver’s license
