A Funeral Assurance and Services company in Bulawayo is inviting all qualified candidates to apply and fill in the position of a Services Supervisor.
Duties And Responsibilities
• Mobilise for cash services
• Engage stakeholders with a view to strengthen the organisation’s cash services position
• Supervise the handling of all services
• Supervise the health and safety of Morticians and Undertakers in the performance of their duties
• Helping the services team understand performance targets and goals
• Training or ensuring that workers are properly trained for their specific roles
• Make sure services are marketed at Funerals
• Solicit for, report on and capture feedback on all services handled.
• Preside over all claims with the assistance of Marketing Personnel.
• Monitor burial processes and ensure company brand visibility at funeral services ceremonies.
• Formulate and agree on Cash Services targets
• Scheduling work hours and shifts for the services team
• Coordinating job rotation and cross-training
• Sharing company updates, financial results, and new objectives with team members
• Assisting in resolving emergencies, such as a quality or customer problem that might be escalated to the team supervisor for handling
• Providing reports and activity updates to management
Minimum Qualifications and Attributes
• A Degree in Marketing Management or any relevant degree
• Possession of other relevant post graduate qualifications will be an added advantage
• A Salesmanship certificate is also an added advantage
• At least 2 years working experience in a similar or related environment
• Excellent negotiating skills and a good event organiser
• Good analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills
• A good team player
• Ability to manage and work under pressure
• Must have a Clean Class 4 Driver’s Licence
