Key Responsibilities

• Reduce plant downtimes
• Controls plant and operational plant schedules, recommend spares and consumable materials.
• Checks and accounts for works operational records, general administration and staff records on daily basis.
• Maintains and updates the asset register for plant and equipment.
• Recommends items for inclusion in the capital and revenue estimates
• Monitors compliance with safety regulations by staff handling hazardous chemicals and safety of operational equipment on daily basis.
• Performance monitoring and management

Requirements

• Degree in Water Engineering with at least five (5) years experience or /Higher National Diploma in Water and Wastewater Management with at least ten (10) years experience or Equivalent
• At least five (5) years in Supervisory position in regards to water production system
• A clean class 4 drivers licence is mandatory
