SENIOR SHEQ OFFICER
ROLE OVERVIEW
Responsible for establishment and implementation of internal SHEQ systems , programs and standards
Specific Duties
- Developing and implementing SHEQ systems , ISO 14001 , ISO 9001 , ISO 45001
- Ensuring adherence to SHEQ procedures and regulations
- Coordinate the indenntification of SHEQ risks and measures to mitigate
- Carrying out industrial hygiene surveys to ensure a healthy working environment
- Coordinate accident investigation and reporting
- Carrying out SHEQ audits/inspections
- SHEQ training and awareness
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Degree in Safety , Health and environment or Environmental science or equivalent
- Professional qualifications OSHMAC , NEBOSH are an added advantage
- Knowledge and experience in developing ISO 14001 , 9001 , 45001 systems
- At least 5 years experience as a SHEQ officer in a mining / manufacturing environment
- Lead auditor certificate an added advantage
