Job Summary
Responsible for all communications, public relations, and public affairs in an organization. Manages the brand image of the Society by building a reputation through the media, promotional activities, campaigns, and media relations.
Duties And Responsibilities
• Prepare periodic media plan, detailing and shortlisting journalists from publications as well as influencers and media houses to ensure that quality and quantity of publicity mileage is achieved.
• Organize and feed content into the organization’s digital media platforms.
• Prepare publicity brochures, press releases, internal newsletters, and agency briefs.
• Implement Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) strategy and execute CSR activities through key stakeholder engagement.
• Seek, evaluate, and analyse Media Coverage to understand the impact of communication efforts on the brand image.
• Draft speeches and coordinate interviews of senior management.
• Arrange and undertake event hosting and management.
Qualifications And Experience
• Degree in Media Studies/Journalism.
• At least three years’ post graduate experience.
• Marketing skills are a must.
• Professional fluency in English and vernacular a must.
• Proof of ability as a published writer with reputable publications and traceable references.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and camera facing prowess.
• Excellent Excel and PowerPoint presentation skills.
• Experience with high-end events management and hosting of high-profile stakeholders.
