ProRecruit (on behalf of a leading health services provider in Zimbabwe) is seeking a SENIOR PHARMACIST (Bio-tech /Chemical/Pharmaceutical). To oversee pharmacy operations across multiple branches in Gweru, Masvingo, Bulawayo, and Harare. This senior leadership role requires strategic oversight, operational excellence, and active participation at the management and board level. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with pharmaceutical regulations, manage stock across branches, drive operational efficiency, and represent the pharmacy group.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership and oversight of pharmacy operations across Gweru, Masvingo, Bulawayo, and Harare branches.
- Sit in board meetings, present operational and compliance reports, and contribute to strategic decision.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and statutory requirements set by pharmaceutical.
- Oversee stock management, including procurement, distribution, and inventory control.
- Implement and monitor pharmaceutical systems to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
- Lead and mentor pharmacy managers and staff, fostering a culture of professionalism.
- Develop and enforce operational policies and procedures to maintain high standards of service delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) or equivalent; Master’s degree in Pharmacy, Business Administration.
- Minimum progressive experience in pharmacy operations, with at least 5 years in a senior management.
- Proven experience overseeing multiple pharmacy branches or large-scale pharmaceutical operations.
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical systems, compliance frameworks in Zimbabwe.
- Demonstrated expertise in stock management and supply chain processes.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
