Vacancy : SENIOR ICT & VOTER REGISTRATION OFFICER
REPORTS TO: Deputy Provincial Elections Officer

GRADE: 6
Summary of Responsibilities
- Installing, configuring and testing computer hardware, software and networks;
- Troubleshooting and resolving software, hardware and network faults and problems;
- Managing and maintaining hardware and network infrastructure;
- Repairing and fixing ICT equipment including BVR kits;
- Establishing security measures in order to protect organizational data, software and hardware;
- Providing first line technical support in the Province;
- Facilitating and coordinating voter registration and delimitation the Province;
- Maintaining a provincial delimitation database;
- Conducting electoral boundary mapping and defining polling stations areas;
- Reviewing voter registration and delimitations programs to inform policies;
- Providing any other support as may be required and expected by the Commission.
Qualifications/Job Specifications
- University degree from a recognized institution in Information Technology. Computer Science, Information Systems, Geographic Information Science and Earth Observation, Geo Informatics, or related field;
- Cisco certification is an added advantage;
- Relevant professional qualification such as GIS is an added advantage;
- 3-4 years ‘s relevant work experience in IT or GIS;
- Clean class 4 Driver’s licence.
