Overview of the Job

The Senior Geologist is responsible for supervision and execution of exploration activities i.e. Geological mapping, sampling, Drilling (Auger and Diamond core) operations etc. and interpreting geological data to support exploration activities.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s/Master’ s degree in Geology or equivalent degree/ course, with relevant work experience.

Required experience

9-15 years of experience in supervising and executing exploration activities, including geological mapping, sampling, drilling planning and execution. Extensive hands-on experience in geological data collection, compilation, interpretation, and report writing.

Skills:

• Experience with GIS software and resource modelling tools such as Surpac and Leapfrog is required. Proficiency in Leapfrog is particularly advantageous. Familiarity with the l\1X Deposit geological database is also beneficial.
• Must be able to meet the physical demands of the job.
• Our client will prefer candidates with current or prior expat experience (experience working outside home country)
