SECURITY OFFICER – MONTROSE STUDIOS

JOBSUMMARY
The incumbent reports to the Senior Security Officer and is responsible for the safeguarding of Corporation assets.

DUTIESAND RESPONSIBILITIES
The incumbent will be responsible for the following among others: –
• Interpretation and implementation of security policy guidelines at the Station
in line with the Corporation’s expectations.
• Implementing security, safety, crime and loss control measures at the station.
• Investigating security breaches and criminal incidents that occur at the station.
• Liaising with State Security Agencies and the Civil Protection Unit on security and emergency rescue operations.
• Drafting a duty roster for security personnel at the station.
• Compiling and submitting monthly security and crime reports to the Station Manager.
• Security vetting of employees at the station.
• Advising the station manager on security and crime matters of concern at the station.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
• Degree/Diploma in Security Management or relevant qualification
• ZRP/ZNATraining
• Certification in arms handling
• A minimum of 3 years working experience in a similar role
