We are seeking a competent and disciplined Security Officer to take full control of security administration, deployment, and personnel supervision within an assigned area. The successful candidate will manage static supervisors and Protection Assistants (PAs), ensure effective rostering, conduct investigations, and maintain strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Effective Deployment – Ensure all shifts parade on time, conduct security surveys before deployment, craft site-specific instructions, and minimize staff shortages.
  • Supervision of Deployments – Implement robust supervision systems, brief and debrief PAs, validate 30% of all Visual Observations weekly, and correct any anomalies identified during supervision checks.
  • Human Resource Management – Induct new PAs, conduct on-the-job training, manage grievances and discipline, maintain uniform inventory and duty rosters, conduct performance appraisals, and compile monthly timesheets.
  • Asset Management – Requisition new items, control the use of issued equipment, maintain a client-supplied property file, investigate damages, and report any equipment abuse or damage to management.
  • Client Liaison – Conduct weekly client visits, produce meeting minutes, compile monthly client reports, gather performance feedback, and perform quarterly security assessments.
  • Incident Management – Record all incidents, submit initial incident reports to the client within 2 hours, ensure proper investigation, report criminal cases to the police, and keep management informed.
  • Reporting – Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly security reports as required.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in security operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
