A Kwekwe based gold mining company intends to recruit Security Guards.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Chief Security Officer, the Security Guards will be responsible for:
Securing premises and personnel by patrolling the perimeter
Manning the main gate, permitting entrance or restricting trespassers, keeping of log and time books
Sounding alarms preventing theft and damages of property
Reporting irregularities and informing visitors of policy and regulations
Adhere to safety codes as required by the regulations
Enforcing compliance on PPE in the plant and carrying out safety checks around the Mine perimeter
Communicating properly with the workers on shifts
Any other duties as instructed by Superiors.

Qualifications and Experience:

A high school qualification or equivalent with ability to read and write.
A qualification in security training.
Basic first aid skills would be advantageous.
Physical strength and fitness.
Prior experience as a Security Guard would be advantageous.
Attention to detail
Age range: 45 years and below.
