SUMMARY
Mwenezi Development Training Centre (MDTC) is a community-based organization operating in Mwenezi, Masvingo, Chiredzi, and Beitbridge districts. MDTC implements diversified community development and humanitarian programmes which are funded by various funding partners. MDTC has recently been given an award to implement a one-year USAID funded programme on “Strengthening resilience to enhance food security and nutrition of vulnerable rural communities to cope with recurrent shocks and stressors in Chiredzi district of Zimbabwe”. The organization have the following vacancies to implement the programme. Project: Strengthening resilience to enhance food security and nutrition of vulnerable rural communities to cope with recurrent shocks and stressors in Chiredzi district.
Reporting to the Field Supervisor
DUTIES
Provide security for field office equipment including vehicles, computers & motor bikes.
Inspecting and patrolling premises regularly.
Reporting suspicious behavior to the Field Supervisor.
Coordinate with other staff in case of emergency.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum: 3 O levels Secondary education.
A certificate in security training is a requirement.
Attach Current Police clearance report.
Any other relevant qualification.
Experience
3 years’ experience in working with Security Company.
A mature person (30 years and above).
Experience working with NGOs is an added advantage.
Able to write comprehensive security reports.
