VACANCY 

Department: Corporate, Quality, Safety and Security

Key Result Areas (KRA)

1. Manning entrance to prevent unauthorized access to controlled areas and aircraft.

2. Checking and establishing the authority of persons to pass through control points, maintaining a register of persons and vehicles entering and leaving the premises.

3. Patrolling security restricted areas and company premises, reporting suspicious circumstances or incidents to the Chief Security Officer, maintaining observations, and initiating preliminary investigations.

4. Controlling the depositing and drawing of keys against signature from Security control and securing specified buildings and premises.

5. Undertaking adhoc checks of vehicle contents entering and leaving the premises, verifying that loads are in accordance with documentation.

6. Controlling traffic and parking within Air Zimbabwe (Pvt) Ltd premises.

7. Carrying out bank commissionaire duties at the City Air Terminal or any other designated facility.

Person Specification

• 5 O’ levels subjects including English.

• Age: 18 to 35 years.

• Certificate in Basic 123 (Civil Aviation Security).

• At least two years’ aviation security experience.

• Knowledge of firearms is an added advantage.

• Must have traceable references.
