Zimbabwe Power Company (ZPC), a subsidiary of ZESA Holdings Group is the leading generator of electrical energy in Zimbabwe and supplies the bulk of the nation’s electrical power requirements from its five power stations. The company is inviting suitably qualified, motivated and experienced staff to fill the following vacancy that has arisen in Zimbabwe Power Company.

The position

Reporting to the Engineering Manager at Hwange Power Station

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications and Experience

A Degree in relevant field (Engineering/Risk Management/ Safety Health Management/Quality Management
A post Graduate qualification such as MBL/MBA or equivalent an added advantage
Membership of any relevant recognised professional institution
6 years relevant experience of which 4 should be at Senior Level

Key Performance Areas

Develops IMS documentation requirement
Coordinates the revision/review of departmental procedures and work instruction to meet IMS requirements
Occupies role of Project Team leader and Station’s lead internal audit
Reports to the Manager on progress in development, implementation and maintenance of IMS
Ensures that the internal IMS Audits are carried out in accordance with schedules
Liaises with IMS consultants and external auditors for development and maintenance of the IMS
Executes all activities in line with the integrated Management system requirements (ISO 9001 ; 2015, ISO 45001 ; 2018. ISO 14001 ; 2015
