We are looking for suitably qualified and experienced candidates to fill the following position:
Section Engineer: Civils and Projects
The primary purpose of the role is the provision of all infrastructure that supports business operations.
Duties And Responsibilities
Main Responsibilities
• Implement the HSEQ system for Civils, Projects and Site Services infrastructure to achieve Zero Harm.
• Develop. recommend, and implement strategies for the Civils and Projects Section.
• Oversee the identification, appraisal, designing and implementation of growth projects for the business.
• Oversee the execution of scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities on all the company premises / infrastructure.
• Manage costs and report expenditure for the projects and site services section.
• Ensure adequate bulk water supply for both potable and raw water to support business operations.
• Perform Contractor Management of all Civils works and Projects for the organisation.
• Manage the Tailings Storage Facility according to statutory requirements and internal Standards.
Qualifications And Experience
Minimum Requirements
• BSc Civil Engineering from a recognised university
• Project Management qualification is an added advantage.
• A member of the Zimbabwe Institution of Engineers (ZIE).
• At least 5 years of hands on experience in the construction or mining industry
• Strong IS & T skills, including AutoCAD, MS Project.
• Working knowledge of Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality systems.
