VACANCY NOTICE

In line with the Corporation’s strategic initiatives towards increased value addition and foreign currency generation, Minerals Marketing Corporation of Zimbabwe (MMCZ), is seeking suitably qualified and experienced candidates to fill in the following positions:

SALES/SHIPPING CLERKS: GRADE C1
HWANGE OFFICE X3
ZVISHAVANE OFFICE XI

Candidates must have own accommodation in the locality.
Reporting to a Sales Executive, these positions exists for the purpose of performing ail clerical work relating to the marketing and selling of minerals produced in Zimbabwe.

The incumbents will be responsible for –
• Compiling sales orders, obtaining analysis certificates, proof of payments, valid export permits and any other information required to raise commercial invoices.
• Generating commercial invoices from ERP.
• Generating export documents using CEPECS, ASYCUDA and ERP.
• Generating, supporting documents which include certificates of origin and consignment notes.
• Attending to queries and facilitating for physical examination of minerals by ZIMRA representatives.
• Organizing and attending regular meetings with various stakeholders to discuss shipment challenges as well as handling their queries.
• Sourcing for quotations and providing information on cost-effective freight rates.
• Btxiking vessel space for export consignments as well as instructing shipping agents on loading schedules and requirements.
• Liasing with Monitors and Inspectors to provide details of customs cleared consignments.
• Conducting renewal of annual ZIMRA Agents Bond registrations.
• Maintaining records of export documents.
• Any other relevant duties as assigned by the Superior.

Minimum Academic Qualifications and Experience
• Degree in Marketing/ Business Management/ Business Administration or any other relevant degree.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in a marketing, shipping, logistics or related field.
• Diploma/Certificate in Customs legislation and procedures or Freight Forwarding/ Shipping and Forwarding is a must.
• Membership to a relevant professional body is an added advantage.
• A Clean Class 4 Driver’s licence is a must.
